What can I say? I succumbed to my base
instincts. We usually try to talk about restaurants that offer hip, or cool selections at prices affordable by
your average student (read: cheap). Le Castile is none of that. It’s a steakhouse.
As a self-appointed expert on the quality
of steak, I shall now list for you offerings that could potentially be better
at the housing of steak than Le Castile:
1. Nothing
2. Nothing
3. Nothing
4. Nothing
5. Maybe
Chris Ruth’s?
Okay fine, I’m no more qualified to judge
the best steak in town than a vegetarian, but this was really good. Really, it
was. Seriously. Did you read my list?
The most important thing to note from this
whole exercise is that this place wasn’t cheap, and by that I mean it was
expensive. Very expensive. You probably want to ditch the jeans for a pair of
nice slacks too (yeah, it’s that kind of place), but for all the hardship and
financial losses you get a fantastic steak. That makes it all worth it.
I get the feeling that I may have just
accidentally opened the floor up to a debate on the best steak in the city, so
I may as well do it officially. What’s the best steakhouse in the city? Let me
know!
